Tithes & Offering

We believe that there is nothing we have that we have not been blessed with by God and so we honour God with all that we have been blessed with. Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

We believe therefore in being generous with the gifts we have been blessed with and in the Biblical principles of using our giving as a testament of our appreciation for God’s provision and His commands. Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

We belief that our giving must not be out of compulsion but a free will demonstration of our love for God and in obedience to His commands. 2 Corinthians 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

We believe that we are called by God to love our neighbours as ourselves and to share our possessions with others. Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them,...

Gift Aid It
