Children

Sherine De Mel-Dishley

Ealing Community Church Kids Ministries is a vibrant and essential part of our church. We partner with parents and guardians to nurture a generation of children who grow in Christ and make a positive impact on their community. We believe children are the church of today, and we help them understand their place within the broader church family.

We offer four Sunday morning groups, a ‘Stay & Play’ group on Tuesday mornings, and a variety of seasonal activities throughout the year.

Sunday Morning Groups

  • Baby Lounge

For babies aged 0-18 months. A cosy space with a live video stream, allowing adults to watch the service while keeping an eye on their babies. The area also features food-warming facilities and a selection of toys.

  • Adventurers

For toddlers aged 18-36 months. This group combines interactive play with simple Bible stories, worship songs, and prayer, all tailored to this age group.

  • Seekers

For children aged 3-5 years. Children in this group start with interactive play, then focus on knowing Jesus as their best friend through worship, personal prayer, Bible stories, and fun activities.

  • Explorers

For kids aged 6-8 years. After games, worship, and creative prayer, children dive deeper into the Bible, learning about God's love and building their personal relationship with Jesus.

  • Pioneers

For kids aged 9-11 years. This group starts with worship, games, and discussions, helping kids develop a deeper understanding of Jesus, including themes like faith, the Holy Spirit, and servant-heartedness, preparing them for Youth Ministry.

  • Sensory Room

Additionally, we offer a sensory room for neuro-diverse children, providing a calm environment where parents/guardians can watch the service live through headsets.

Information About Children’s Groups

  • Registration & Timings

Registration opens at 10:10am and closes promptly at 11:00am. Kids' groups start at 10:30am (except during seasonal or family events). For safety reasons, children must be checked in before 11:00am.

If you arrive after this time, please speak with the Children’s Pastor or the coordinator on duty before taking your child to their group. If groups are at capacity, we will provide your child with an activity pack so you can enjoy the main service together as a family

  • Additional Needs

We recognise the importance of accommodating each child’s individual needs and are committed to providing the best support for families and children with additional needs. Please speak with the Children’s Pastor to discuss how we can work together to provide the best support for your child.

  • Safeguarding

Anyone wishing to serve within the Children’s Ministries must complete an enhanced DBS check before joining the team. This is in accordance with our safeguarding policy and is essential. If you need to report a concern, please speak with our Safeguarding Officer, Margaret Ssekabuuza, or email Sherine at sdm@ecc.org.uk
